2021: Latinx Abstract, and back to Nepal to film.

Propose a project

In 2021 a work by Vargas-Suárez Universal made with the felt-makers of Kyrgyzstan was shown in Latinx Abstract, curated by Elisabeth Ferrer, in New York.

The same year we went back to Nepal to film Lokta Kingdom: at the drying fields above Kathmandu at dawn, in the workshops where the paper is bound, and up into the hills where the lokta bush grows — by jeep along mountain roads and on foot to Ghorepani and Poon Hill, under Annapurna.
