What we produce.
AKA Art Productions produces work for contemporary artists together with master craftspeople in Nepal, India, Mexico, Uzbekistan and Mali, bringing intangible cultural heritage — hand-knotting, embroidery, weaving — into contemporary art.
Each production is a collaboration: the artist's drawing, the workshop's technique, and our direction from the first sample to the finished piece.
